Just got the call about fertilization results and I couldn't be more pleased or scared.  We only had 7 eggs, but 6 were mature.  That is way better than we have had in any other cycle.   Also, of the 6, 5 fertilized.

We have no idea yet about the quality of those embryos yet, and this is another stage where we always have some serious trouble, but I am feeling a little hopeful.  Unfortunately that is often the beginning of the big fall.

That is EXACTLY what I had in my last cycle - 7 retrieved (from 12-13 follicles), 6 mature, and 5 fertilized with ICSI. We ended up with 3 that grew all the way to blast.

I hope your embies keep growing and are of great quality. One day at a time!

Thinking of you!

Very exciting. I hope the 5 good little embryos who listen to mom and divide like crazy.

Everything about this cycle seems to be going well so far! I think the fact that you got more mature eggs, that H's numbers were good, that so many fertilized ALL bode well. Still crossing everything!

Not sure if you have ever seen this. It's a beautiful video that brings a bit of peace. Good thought for your little embryos!

For some reason it had cut it off.

That's great news! It's hard to stay positive after having been through so much, but you just never know. You hear about couples who've had several failed IVF cycles and end then, with lower quality embryos, end up with perfectly healthy twins and triplets. Crossing my fingers for you!!!
