Longest nap yet

The last several days have been ones of eating on one side, falling asleep for 10 minutes or less, then feeding on the other side.  Repeat in 1 hour or less.

Finally today he slept for several hours, only as long as he was kept in the Baby Bjorn.  He won't sleep if he is not attached to a human.  He will not sleep on the floor, in the bassinet, anywhere.

And, no, I didn't sleep with him.  That would have been too easy.  I did finally get to eat an entire meal though.

This is going to take a while.

It seems like a lot of babies go through the "won't sleep anywhere but on a parent" phase. It *will* pass. For Ant it was around 10-12 weeks - and at that time I found the key was not to let him fall asleep on me and then try and put him down, just to put him in the crib (after some bouncing on the exercise ball - if you haven't tried that I highly highly recommend it, I know a ton of people whose baby's it soothes like magic). Sorry for the long comment and assvice ;-)

I had a love-hate relationship with the Bjorn. It instantly soothed Sarah when I got her in the thing, but I couldn't take her out of it. She instantly went berserk when removed! Do you know hard it is to use the bathroom while wearing a Bjorn with a baby tucked in it? Oh, those were long days. But look, I made it! You will too.
